Apply for the System Administrator III position at LB&B Associates Inc located on the National Airspace System (NAS) Whidbey Island, WA.
ClearanceMust possess or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
Education/Certification Requirements- Current certification in CISSP or equivalent; maintain required certifications and 40 hours of annual continuing education (DoD Approved 8570).
- Baseline IAT‑III Certifications.
- Applicable CE/OS Certifications.
- Meet Minimum Credential requirements and maintain training as identified in DoD 8570.01M.
- Within six months of assignment, complete government‑sponsored training on the DoD Host Based Security System (HBSS) classes 201, 301, 501 and the DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS); assist Government IA personnel with configuration, sustainment of HBSS, and execute/ analyze vulnerability scans as needed.
- Minimum seven years in a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity workforce position, including customer service, technical support, data administration, knowledge management, network services, system administration, and systems security analysis.
- Lead teams or support actions to resolve or mitigate IA problems quickly.
- Ensure information systems comply with cybersecurity best practices, guidelines, and policies.
- Coordinate and prioritize efforts with SM/ASM, COR, ISEO, ISSO and other Government IPT personnel.
- Provide tracking and reporting to the Program Manager, SM/ASM and COR for all PWS cybersecurity activities.
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging information system capabilities; support the Government Plan of Action & Milestones, change management, and reporting requirements.
- Support installation of new or modified hardware, OS, and software ensuring integration with IA security requirements.
- Knowledge of networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls); STIGs; system patching and IA vulnerability alerts/bulletins and technical advisories.
- Support, monitor, test, troubleshoot hardware and software IA problems; provide end‑user support for IA related applications.
- Routine maintenance including diagnostic testing and optimization.
- Coordinate and implement software backup and antivirus requirements.
- Perform scheduled IA‑specific preventive maintenance on computer systems and network components.
- Conduct systems analysis and summarize data in a technical document understandable by decision makers.
- Coordinate cybersecurity/ATO requirements with Government cybersecurity/IA personnel, including ISSM, ISSO, ISEO, and COR.
- Familiar with applicable cybersecurity instructions and practices including DoDI 8570.01-M, CJCSM 6510.01, DoD 8570.01M, and DoDI 8500.1.
