JCare manages a senior living facility in Oak Park, MI. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at our Senior Living Facility in Oak Park. As a caregiver, you have the unique chance to provide both physical and emotional support, while forming genuine connections with our residents. • Assisting with care needs, specifically but not limited to: dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting
• Passing medications following physicians orders
• Light housekeeping as needed
• Engage the residents, encouraging involvement within the community
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which includes light housekeeping
• Assess for change in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor
• Complete all required documents and charting
• Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services and coworkers
• Assist other team members with their duties
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Able to pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with the elderly, preferred
• Must be 18 years old
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Every other weekend is required
• A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift
