INVO PEO is a professional employer organization (PEO) that provides HR solutions to small and mid‑sized businesses across the United States. We specialize in payroll processing, tax administration, employee benefits, and risk management. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant I to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing accounting duties related to general ledger and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work a regular schedule in our Oak Ridge, TN office full‑time Monday through Friday.

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general ledger activities.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records and documentation.
• Provide support to other accounting team members as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is not required but preferred. Associate’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct is desired.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Detail‑oriented, with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks and prioritize according to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team player who will also work independently.
