We specialize in payroll processing, tax administration, employee benefits, and risk management. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant I to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN.

Job Summary:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing accounting duties related to general ledger and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work a regular schedule in our Oak Ridge, TN office full-time Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general ledger activities.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Provide support to other accounting team members as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field is not required but preferred. Associates degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct is desired.
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks and prioritize according to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team player who will also work independently.
