INVO Claims Administrators is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Workers Compensation Claims Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting the claims department and ensuring a smooth and efficient process for managing workers' compensation claims. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service to our clients.

What you will do:

- Assist in the preparation and processing of workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Communicate with relevant parties, including employees, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, to gather necessary documentation and information.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized claim files in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support claims adjusters in investigating claims by collecting statements and additional evidence when needed.
- Respond to inquiries from claimants and other stakeholders, providing informative and accurate information.
- Conduct data entry and maintain updated records in the claims management system.
- Monitor claim progress and provide regular updates to claimants and relevant team members.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement within the claims department.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; an associates or bachelors degree in business administration or a related field is advantageous.
- Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role, with a focus on claims processing, is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and regulations is a plus.
