This is a SMART grant funded (31ff) position that is 20hrs/week for 30 weeks annually (prorated for partial years).
Qualifications:- A Bachelor's Degree or Higher
- Enrolled in the second year of an accredited School Psychology Master’s Degree Program
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
We are seeking a compassionate university student enrolled in their second year of a master's degree school psychology program and eligible for their practicum placement. This university practicum student is regarded as a scientist-practitioner and will be an integral part of our MTSS system, gaining experience related to the ten practice model domains of the National Association of School Psychologists 2020 Domains of Practice while under the supervision of a fully certified school psychologist.
Responsibilities:The school psychologist practicum student will be responsible for integrating the following duties and knowledge, including equitable practices for the diverse student population, into the process of special education evaluations through the completion of REEDs and Eligibility Recommendations under the guidance and supervision of the school psychologist while engaging in legal, ethical, and professional practice.
