Piping Engineer

Navarro Research and Engineering is an award‑winning federal contractor headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, dedicated to partnering with clients to advance clean energy and deliver effective solutions for complex challenges in the nuclear and environmental fields.

We are recruiting a full‑time Piping Engineer for facilities in Category 2 and Category 3 locations. Salary range: $ – $.

• Provide design output documentation to support major facility modifications and project engineering activities.
• Develop drawings, engineering instructions, data sheets, equipment specifications, equivalency evaluations, and calculations for piping design projects.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and plant organizations to produce timely design output.
• Perform field walk‑downs and work in a production environment.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in ASME B31.3 Process Piping Design.
• ABE​T‑accredited BS degree in a relevant engineering discipline plus 10 or more years of professional experience.
• Experience in an NRC or DOE regulated environment is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with clients, production and support organizations, management, and hourly wage employees.

US citizenship required. An active DOE Q‑level clearance is preferred.
