Responsible for providing management support to a team of engineers focused on Fuel Forms, including power handling, powder pressing, ceramics, graphite, and extrusion. This role leads technical direction and project execution to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely delivery aligned with organizational objectives.
Responsibilities- Support the execution of engineering design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.
- Manage utilization of engineering resources across multiple projects, ensuring qualified engineers perform assigned work.
- Lead design cycle sprints and guide team members, partners, and suppliers to deliver high‑quality engineering work products on schedule and within budget.
- May manage engineering staff, ensuring they meet expectations and promoting professional development.
- Influence and support strategy, methodology, and technical tools for the area of responsibility.
- Interpret business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, tools, or services.
- Make decisions and handle complex tasks in operations, product management, technology, or engineering.
- Assess quality of information from stakeholders and ask pertinent questions.
- Offer new solutions to problems outside set parameters and provide recommendations.
- Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop next‑generation nuclear reactor and/or fuel technologies.
- Perform work per design control procedures, ensuring thorough documentation, design reviews, and configuration data control.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university or college.
- Typically seven+ years of professional engineering experience after completion of undergraduate study; graduate degrees count as two+ years of experience.
- Specialized knowledge in Fuel Forms functions, including powder handling, powder pressing, ceramics, graphite, and extrusion.

Hours8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.
CompensationEstimated salary range: $112,050 – $186,750 (based on location and experience).
Position ClassificationFull‑time – Exempt.
