o is seeking a Nuclear Safety/Integrated Safety Analysis Engineer to support Project IKE. The Nuclear Safety/ISA Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of the Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA), including Items Relied on for Safety (IROFS), as well as oversight of the criticality, chemical process, fire safety strategies, and detailed design for nuclear safety to ensure compliance with the license documents.
- Lead development, update, and configuration control of the facility Integrated Safety Analysis (ISA), ISA Summary, and supporting safety-basis documentation consistent with 10 CFR 70 Subpart H, NUREG-1520, and applicable NRC guidance.
- Perform and independently review hazard identification, process hazard analysis (HAZOP, HAZID, What-If, FMEA), accident sequence evaluation, and consequence/likelihood assessments for enrichment process systems, UF6 handling, cascading, support utilities, and construction/commissioning activities.
- Identify Items Relied on for Safety (IROFS), define functional requirements, management measures, and performance criteria; support reliability, availability, and maintainability of safety controls.
- Prepare and review Unreviewed Safety Question (USQ) / change evaluations, major modification determinations, and 10 CFR 70.72 change-process packages.
