- Develop uranium conversion and fluorination processes, from feed preparation to product recovery
- Evaluate how temperature, gas composition, and residence time affect conversion and impurities
- Support lab and demonstration-facility commissioning, sampling, and troubleshooting
- Assess corrosion and materials-of-construction challenges in fluorinating environments
- Support equipment selection for reactors and gas-handling systems
- Experience in fluorination, halogen chemistry, gas-solid reactions, or uranium conversion process development
- Hands-on lab or pilot work with reactive gases, high temperatures, or corrosive service
- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Nuclear Engineering, or related field
- Advanced degree; direct uranium fluorination or UF6 experience
- Fluorine-bearing gas systems or UF6 handling
- Online gas analysis or DOE/nuclear facility experience
