• Practice excellent customer service.
• Assist physician with all procedures.
• Schedule patient appointments in practice management system specifically after 5:30 p.m.
• Schedule patient tests, labs and MRIs.
• Answer follow‑up phone calls from patients when appropriate.
• Room patients for treatment.
• Record MU in EHR.
• Draw up injections for physician and assist in administering.
• Assist in transfer of physically challenged patients.
• Application and removal of cast and splints/DME.
• Clean and disinfect room after each patient leaves.
• Clean and prepare used instruments for autoclaving.
• Dispose of any hazardous waste bags daily.
• Order supplies and stock rooms as needed.
• Complete all forms for procedures and services performed in clinic.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: High school diploma. Graduation from an approved medical assisting program.

Experience: Minimum one year MA experience in a healthcare setting; clinic experience preferred. 2015 certification required.
