Senior Tax Accountant
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Onsite)
Duration: Full Time & Direct Hire
Job Description: The role requires an experienced tax professional with a strong background in public accounting and tax compliance, primarily focused on income tax returns for closely held private businesses and individuals.
Responsibilities- Supervising and/or preparing income tax return compliance engagements and planning for the firm’s clients.
- At least 8 years of public accounting experience preparing and reviewing income tax returns.
- Strong understanding of recent Federal tax laws for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, and individual taxpayers.
- Experience with complex trusts and estates is a benefit but not required.
- Knowledge of compliance and planning for Corporate, S Corporate, Partnership, Trust, Individual, Estate, Gift, and Not‑for‑Profit entities, including Private Foundations.
