Tax Manager

Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a well-established public accounting firm who is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity for a seasoned tax professional with strong public accounting experience who is interested in taking on client-facing responsibilities, supervising engagements, and contributing to a collaborative, relationship-driven firm.

Title: Experienced Tax Professional
Location: Oakbrook Terrace, IL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Open and commensurate with experience

• Supervise and/or prepare income tax returns and related compliance engagements
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base
• Work with closely held, private businesses and their owners
• Review returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, Partnerships, and individuals
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service

Required:

• Minimum of 8 years of public accounting experience in tax
• Strong knowledge of current Federal tax laws
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing income tax returns for closely held entities and individuals
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and mentor junior staff

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with complex trusts and estates
