About

The Role

This role supports procurement across the portfolio of indirect categories (freight & logistics, facilities management, co‑manufacturing, energy, and business services) as part of the McCain North American procurement team. The candidate will conduct market and industry dynamics analysis, supplier research and evaluations, supply chain risk assessment, and manage energy & service spend and price variances. They will also support and facilitate the strategic sourcing of over $500 million in indirect spending for McCain Foods, driving category strategy development, ongoing category management, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship development.

What

You’ll Be Doing

• Drive cost and value‑focused strategy for applicable spend areas.
• Monitor and manage supplier KPIs to ensure seamless delivery of supply.
• Deliver the Sustainable Cost Advantage Program.
• Work with the global commodities team to manage hedging practices for applicable energy markets.
• Lead and execute sourcing events (RFx & negotiations) to support category strategy goals.
• Build and leverage supplier relationships in the relative markets to deliver value to the company.
• Ensure company purchases in the spend categories comply with internal controls requirements.
• Responsible for category financial planning, budget and PPV management.
• Build strong relationships with McCain cross‑functional teams to deliver initiatives supporting company priorities such as savings, sustainability, cash improvement, and supply assurance.

Academic

• Must have:
  Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Engineering, or Finance.
• Nice to have: MBA.

Professional / Technical

• Must have:
  Experience with MS Office suite.
• Nice to have:
  Experience in SAP, Coupa, ARIBA.

Related Work Experience

• Must have: 1‑5 years of industry experience.

Compensation

Base salary range: $65,500.00 – $87,400.00 USD annually, plus bonus eligibility.
