Construction Project Engineer; Construction Management Focus

We are seeking ambitious and driven Project Engineers with a Construction Management Degree to join our firm. Ideally, the successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with a construction management firm. • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management (required)

• Works with the Project Team to develop, drive and implement project goals
• Participates in New Project Setup
• Assists and supports the Project Manager in preparing and processing Owner and Vendor Contracts
• Attends project meetings and prepares/distributes agendas and minutes in a timely manner
• Receives and processes design documents
• Assists and supports the team developing site utilization programs
• Monitors compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and policies
• Assists and supports the team with procuring building permits and coordinating inspections
• Maintains Project Directory
• Coordinates submittal review, approval, and distribution of shop drawings, samples, etc.
• Maintains all project files
• Assists with preparation and monitoring of RFIs
• Maintains system to expedite construction materials, deliveries and equipment lists
• Assists and supports the team with change events, vendor estimates and proposals
• Prepares appropriate company estimates and proposals for changes
• Manages the punch list process
• Manages the closeout process
• Maintains open, responsive, and professional communication and relationships with all team members
• Maintains adherence to OSHA Standards of safety

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain Walmart Safety, Employment, Waste, Stormwater Compliance Certification
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification or ability to obtain

• Walking on rough/uneven terrain, frequent pushing/pulling/carrying of equipment/objects/debris, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing on the job site
• Sitting, standing and walking for extended periods; climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders repeatedly
• Occasionally may lift to 50 lbs
