In this role, the selected candidate will be instrumental in the design of water and wastewater systems, including the civil aspects of water/wastewater design projects such as piping, pump stations, pipelines, site layouts, and treatment process equipment. Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies is required.

The Designer II – Engineering role is responsible for independently performing the design throughout all phases of multiple simultaneous projects, developing technical aspects throughout all phases of a project.

• Provide technical detailing for selected projects.
• Assist with the production of technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and teams to translate design concepts.
• Assist with site investigations and observations.
• Attend client meetings and communicate with clients.
• Assist with preparation of proposals, reports, and findings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

• Associate’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in computer software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-design discipline team.
