Role OverviewAs a Senior Accountant, you will work on accounting policy development and drive financial reporting excellence. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Consolidations, you will collaborate with corporate finance, segment CFOs, investor relations, tax, treasury, and legal teams to ensure accurate and high‑quality financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and timely filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
- Monitor evolving SEC reporting and disclosure trends, ensuring best‑in‑class financial transparency
- Support Investor Relations by preparing and reviewing quarterly earnings materials
- Act as a subject matter expert on complex accounting areas, including share‑based compensation, earnings per share (EPS), lease accounting, and research and prepare technical accounting memos and policy documentation
- Lead the implementation of new accounting standards, providing internal training
- Manage and update the corporate accounting policy manual
- Drive continuous process improvement and best practices in financial reporting
- Collaborate closely with external auditors to ensure compliance
- Lead various special projects to enhance financial reporting and compliance
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business strategy
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required) - Certification: CPA certification (Required)
- Experience:
3+ years of progressive experience (Public Accounting & Public Company experience preferred) - Technical & Leadership
Skills:
Ability to manage competing priorities & lead projects, high‑level analytical & problem‑solving skills, experience leveraging financial technology systems
