McCain Foods is looking for a highly motivated individual who can excel in a fast-paced environment and is excited about challenging projects, delivering solutions and working with people. The Sr Deployment Planner oversees network product deployment and balances product volumes throughout the North American network, collaborating with Supply Chain stakeholders to optimize service levels, inventory, and costs.

The Sr Deployment Planner should be curious about the business, possess leadership and technical skills, analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and strong verbal and written communication. The role requires the ability to work within guidelines, manage time constraints and changing priorities, and back up the Manager as needed. The Sr Deployment Planner is the first point of escalation for Deployment Planners.

• Assist with critical tasks and act as the first line of escalation to the team
• Support the Distribution Manager on projects to enhance the deployment process (reporting, system analysis, system enhancements)
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Excellence and Business Analyst teams to identify projects, define business requirements, and reduce manual tasks in deployment
• Drive KPIs within the Deployment space
• Serve as subject matter expert for S4, EDGE, or other technology projects
• Coordinate resources and liaise between Logistics Services, Transportation, Warehousing, Customer Solutions and Procurement
• Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Plan for upcoming overflow volumes, production downtimes, and improved distribution lead times
• Train new and existing employees in Deployment Planner duties
• Coordinate with McCain warehouse operations to prioritize inbound STOs within appointment matrices
• Monitor Case fill service levels for defined regions or customers and take proactive action as needed
• Provide after-hours, holiday and weekend support as needed
• Maintain relationships and communicate Deployment team requirements with partners
• Provide coverage for the Distribution Manager and team when needed
• Mentor new hires and interns
• Other duties as assigned

• University degree with related major or relevant experience (Logistics or Supply Chain preferred)
• 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience, with familiarity in logistics, transportation and warehouse operations
• Effective oral and written communication with all levels of the organization
• Tact and diplomacy; ability to build strong relationships
• Results-focused with bias toward action and continuous improvement
• Self-motivated with teamwork, positive attitude, and desire to learn
• Strong technical skills including SAP, Blu Jay TMS and MS Office
• Thorough, detail-oriented with analytical and critical thinking skills
• Customer-focused and solutions-oriented

Compensation: $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 USD annually + bonus eligibility. The above reflects the target compensation range ing compensation will be based on experience and other factors. Benefits and well-being programs are provided and may vary by location.

We are a hybrid workplace; most office-based roles offer the option to work remotely two days a week. There may be exceptions depending on role and location; discuss with your recruiter for details.
