Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for an EHS Manager (Regional) to be responsible for supporting the EHS Leadership team and being a liaison between multi-site functions. Core responsibilities will consist of working closely with the Site Managers to achieve performance excellence and alignment in EHS programs, practices, and security strategies. The Regional Manager will establish a strong working relationship with the organizational stakeholders and the operational leadership team, driving a safe working culture and providing leadership with necessary support to implement effective EHS programs.
Alignment with Corporate EHS to enable the site to effectively identify and mitigate EHS risks. This role will support EHS programs in accordance with federal, provincial, state, local regulations, and internal standards to drive continual improvement and an incident-free work environment. They will act as a change agent to accelerate best practice sharing across their facilities through coaching and advising and providing subject matter expertise.
This position will report to the Senior Director of EHS.

- Support the site leadership to ensure the site’s success drive towards zero environmental and employee health, safety and security incidents.
- Participate in the WORLDPAC EHS network (communities, conferences, audits) representing the site to develop and implement WORLDPAC programs and practices consistency throughout the organization.
- Partner with site Leadership team on Incident Management/Notification.
- Develop a strong relationship and facilitate employee-led behavior-based safety processes in a team-based environment.
- Support all incident and near-miss investigations to uncover the root causes and ensure execution and tracking the completion of corrective actions.
- Support the site Plant Manager and leadership team to develop Site EHS Key Priorities including loss analysis with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Ensures these are aligned with Corporate Strategies, Programs and Plans with the objective of sustainable Best in Class EHS performance.
- Serve as a leader for the implementation of EHS management systems. Works through established systems and applies related tools. Effectively coach and utilize EHS tools, Programs, and systems to enhance the Site’s overall Safety performance.
- Lead cross functional Process Improvement Teams to address EHS and security site issues, formulate proposal for strategic and tactical responses, and advise site leadership of impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Develop comprehensive plans that outline policies and practices to minimize risks associated with vehicle use and improve driver safety within the company's fleet.
- Analyze incident data to identify trends and incident types that can be prevented.
- Partner, coach, and support Regional and site Leadership Teams with EHS goals, objectives, and elimination of losses.
- Monitor the health of each plant’s EHS Programs within their BU/Region Platform.
