This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Oakdale, CA. We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of seven (7) years of purchasing experience within the structural steel industry and a proven ability to manage procurement operations efficiently and strategically. • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation
• Minimum of 7 years purchasing experience in the structural steel industry
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel and erection drawings
• Ability to navigate Tekla software
• Strong negotiating skills with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, make independent decisions, and solve problems
• Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and record keeping
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
