Our client has an immediate (or ASAP) need for a Vice President of Nursing Services for a small Critical Access hospital with a very stable leadership group and a great community to serve.
Client promises a great atmosphere to work, lightning quick feedback and any resources the selected candidate will need in order to get the job done.
The Vice President of Nursing Services (VPNS) is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and evaluating the activities of each clinical department to maintain high quality patient care. The VPNS is responsible for Departmental Goals for Patients (Department Service, Patient Satisfaction, and Quality Improvement);
People (Employee Development, Training, Recognition, Satisfaction, and Retention & Recruitment);
Future (Budget, Cost Management, Revenue, New Service Development) and Community (Participation). This position participates in the Operational and Strategic Planning as part of the management team.
Minimum Education
- BSN or MSN preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ management experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ clinical nursing experience (prefer hospital experience).
- Knowledge of Joint Commission and Federal & State licensing requirements.
