Construction Manager - Seasonal

Bolton & Menk has a great opportunity for a Construction Manager to join our team in the Twin Cities. This position can be located in any of our Oakdale office based on candidate preference. As a Construction Manager you will provide oversight for large and multiple smaller transportation infrastructure projects concurrently on construction activities to assure their compliance with the project plans and specifications, manage contracts and construction aspects of project delivery including - assisting in preparing the proper project documentation, assist with proposals, cost estimating, and client outreach, as well as reviewing and approving work orders, change orders, and contractor payments.

In this role you will also oversee, direct, and coordinates workload and staffing needs for a team of field staff including construction technicians, surveyors, interns, and seasonal staff.

Candidates must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply technical knowledge to a variety of infrastructure projects. In addition, must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and staff from various agencies. This position requires a valid Drivers License and your own means of reliable transportation with the ability to travel to on-site inspections.

You must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds while walking through rough terrain and have good verbal communication skills. Design experience or training with Auto Desk software for GIS experience is a plus, but not required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
• Exceptional interpersonal written & verbal communication skills
• Exemplary time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must possess a valid drivers license and their own transportation

Bolton & Menk will currently not be providing visa sponsorship or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $125,000 depending on years of experience and credentials

Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
