Hourly Range

$30-32 per hour DOE

Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Tanker, Hazmat endorsements preferred (not required at application, required at hire)
  • Current DOT medical card required at hire
  • Clean driving record
  • TWIC preferred, not required
  • Must satisfactorily complete a pre‑employment DOT drug screen and background check
Skills and Abilities
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission
  • Ability to drive/work in all traffic and weather conditions
  • Willing and able to work up to 14‑hour days, 70‑hour weeks
  • Proficient verbal communication skills and ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to make timely, safe, and sound decisions
  • Flexibility to work within constantly changing priorities

Summary of Responsibilities
  • Transport and deliver loaded and empty tanker, bulk, semi & van trucks professionally, safely, efficiently, timely, and legally.
  • Hook and unhook trailers; operate pumps and valves to fill tanks using hoses, nozzles, and fittings.
  • Ensure all products, hoses, and tools are secured using approved methods such as tie‑downs and straps.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip safety inspections; report all concerns, defects, incidents, or damage immediately.
  • Maintain trucks and equipment clean; report issues immediately.
  • Provide excellent customer service; ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries; monitor key performance data and report issues to supervisor.
  • Represent the company to customers, the public, and the trucking industry professionally at all times.
  • Coordinate with management, dispatchers, customers, and fellow employees to ensure fulfillment and address issues.
  • Maintain positive relationships with management, dispatchers, customers, and employees.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork, working hours, and vehicle service/repair status; maintain records under company, state, and federal regulations.
  • Always demonstrate safe work and risk‑management practices; communicate, enforce, and report all safety and security issues or incidents.
  • Utilize uniforms and PPE appropriately; follow driving rules and laws.
  • Ensure confidentiality of data collection and storage.
  • Assist in warehouse or related duties as required, including loading/unloading using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Set priorities to plan/complete work assignments; coordinate with others to meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, bend, and climb stairs and ladder.
  • Regularly required to lift, pull, push, and carry heavy loads.
  • Tasks performed inside and outside; may include exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, vapors/fumes/chemicals, and noise for extended periods.
  • Must be able to maintain DOT medical card.
