Salary:
Up to £40,000.00 per annum (Not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Rota:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm
Contract:
Permanent, Term Time Only
Start Date:
January 2026

About the role
As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging, creative, and personalised learning experiences, ensuring the curriculum is taught in a way that builds confidence, curiosity, and achievement.
You’ll work within a supportive team that values collaboration, innovation, and pupil wellbeing just as much as academic success. Every lesson you deliver will help shape not only learning outcomes, but futures.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver creative, inclusive lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
- Plan and teach the primary curriculum to maximise engagement and progress
- Create a calm, positive learning environment that promotes wellbeing and achievement
- Work closely with colleagues and support staff to meet the needs of all learners
- Use innovative and flexible teaching approaches to inspire pupils
- Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development alongside academic learning
About You
- Calm, engaging, and resilient, with a pupil-centred approach
- Passionate about making a genuine difference in children’s lives
- Confident in adapting teaching strategies for a range of learning needs
- Committed to delivering high-quality primary education
- Motivated, reflective, and eager to see every child succeed
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Primary Education
Desirable
- Experience working in an SEN setting
- SEN or related qualification
- Two or more years’ classroom experience, ideally within primary education

-18 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Our school is based in a Victorian country house near Oakham with stunning views and fantastic facilities to develop not only the educational, but also the social and emotional needs of our pupils.
