This is more than a plant leadership role. Reporting directly to the UKI General Manager, you will have full accountability for plant performance across safety, people, operations, quality, customer satisfaction, and financial results. You'll lead an experienced management team while championing a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, capability development, and engagement.

Our Oakham facility is a key manufacturing site within Amcor's Food, Beverage & Specialities business, with a long-standing reputation for operational excellence, engineering expertise, and workforce development. The site combines strong manufacturing capability with a highly experienced workforce and plays an important role in nurturing future engineering talent through one of Amcor's UK apprenticeship academies.

Leading the Site

You'll provide inspirational leadership across all aspects of plant performance, ensuring the business consistently delivers against safety, service, quality, productivity, and financial targets.

Key areas include:

• Creating and executing the site strategy in line with UK business goals.
• Driving a high-performance culture centred on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Leading and developing a cross-functional leadership team across operations, engineering, planning, warehouse, and support functions.
• Delivering exceptional operational and customer outcomes.

Driving Operational Excellence

You'll lead a sophisticated manufacturing operation and continuously raise performance standards by:

• Optimising productivity, efficiency, and asset utilisation.
• Delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Building on the site's strong engineering and technical capability.
• Supporting transformation projects that strengthen competitiveness, sustainability, and growth.
