Essentialcharacteristicsandrequirementsincludedemonstrableexperienceinseniorstakeholdermanagement,strategicplanningand leadership,problem solving,effectivepeoplemanagementandaprovenabilitytoleadinchallengingandcomplexenvironments.

Youwillbe organised,anexcellentcommunicatorandhaveanexcellentgraspofcommercialaspectsoflargeprojectsincludingNEC4contracts,risk management, supplychainstrategiesandprocurement.

• Buildingnewandleveragingexistingrelationshipswithclientsandkeystakeholderstoposition Bovisforfutureopportunities.
• Understandclientdriverstoinformwinstrategiesforidentifiedpipelineopportunities,buildandleadbidteamstodevelop compellingproposalstosecurefuturework.
• Lead Preconstructionteamstoconvertsecuredopportunitiesintocontractsandonintosubsequentdelivery

The Project Directorwillbeaccountablefordrivingsuccessandprojectteamperformancetomeetboth Bovisandclientprojectsuccessfactors , including:

• Developandimplementtheprojectstrategy,processesandworkingmethodsusingthe
  
  Bovismanagementsystems.
  
  Toinclude projectconversionplansandprojectdeliveryplanstoensureexecutionofprojectdeliverableswithinagreedparameters(e.g.budget,time),inaccordancewithcontractualrequirementsand
  
  Bovisqualitystandards.
• Creatingandmaintainingan Incident and Injury Free safetyculture (design,clientandtradecontractors),demonstratingclearand uncompromisingleadershiptoensureweoperatesafelyprotectingeveryone.
• Review progress,performanceandreportto
  
  Bovisleadershipteams,provide monthly
  
  Business Reportsand Reviews ,internally and with clients.
• Identifycorrectiveactions,developsolutionsandcontributetocontinuousimprovement.
• Leadonclientandpartnerstakeholderrelationshipsandmanagingprojectmatters.
• Develop Programmesandschedulesforyourproject,includingdevelopmentofsite
• logisticsandotherplans.
  
  Coordinatealloperationsonsitewithyourteamdetermininganoverallplanofworks(including design, procurement,constructionandcommissioning).Coordinatetheeffortsofteammemberstoensuretherequiredtasksaredoneon time.
• Maintaincostcontrol,workingwiththeprojectcommercialleadtomanageriskandopportunity.
• Developapeopleplanwithclearresponsibilitiesandsuccessionplanstosupportsustainablegrowthforpeopleatprojectandwithin thebusinessunit.

• Developprojectlevelqualityplansandworkingculturetodrive‘Rightfirsttime’cultureinallaspectsoftheproject.
• Developsustainablepractices.
• Leadprojectsupplychainstrategy,collaboratingwithotherprojectteamsandbusinessleaders,includingsupplychainperformancemanagement.
• Contributetothedevelopmentoftheprojectconversionprocess(e.g.budgets,frameworks) andprojectanddesignstrategytoseta clearprojectframeworkandsupporttheimplementationoftheprojectstrategy,objectives,policiesandprocedures.
• Buildandmaintainexternalrelationships(e.g.clients,contractors/subcontracts) toincreasenetworksandmanagetheperformanceanddevelopmentoftheprojectteamthroughcoaching,mentoringandbuildingrequiredskillsetstoensurethatstaffareadequately resourcedtoperform.
