D or D1 Drivers - Urgently Required - Exciting New Contract

Are you looking for a new opportunity in a business which continues to grow and where people matter? Transport Connect Ltd places a great emphasis on looking after our customers but also looking after one another. As our contracts continue to expand, there are two positions currently available starting immediately in the Rutland area. We urgently need D Licence and D1 Licence Drivers.

Transport Connect Ltd delivers Call Connect Transport to give people from all walks of life accessibility to their community. If you are a focussed individual who enjoys driving and caring for people in the wider community, please apply. The hourly rate for a driver from the 01 April 2025 will be circa £12.86 per hour.

Responsibilities include driving a passenger vehicle and providing reliable, safe transport for passengers in the community. Full training and route familiarisation will be provided. Shifts operate with appropriate breaks in line with Drivers Hours Legislation.

• Current D or D1 licence
• Full current CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Ability to undergo a full enhanced DBS check (will be performed on successful candidates)

• Call Connect Driver Shifts in Rutland
• Typical hours: 07:00 – 19:00 (Monday to Friday) and 07:45 – 18:00 on Saturdays
• There is flexibility on shift patterns

There is a career progression in Passenger Transport from 8-Seater, to D1, D and from there movement to Lead Driver, Supervisor, Office based CPC holder up to Transport Manager.
