About the Role
The base pay range for this position is $25.00/hr - $35.00/hr actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Operate directional drilling equipment to install underground utilities in accordance with project plans and specifications
- Set up and maintain drilling rigs, support equipment, and job sites to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Read and interpret utility maps, plans, and job specifications to determine drill path and locate existing utilities
- Mix and handle drilling fluids and perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Assist with potholing, trenching, and other excavation methods to verify utility locations
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, materials used, and project progress
- Ensure compliance with all PURIS safety protocols and industry standards
- Previous experience operating directional drills for underground utility installation
- Working knowledge of utility construction methods and safe digging practices
- Ability to operate and maintain drilling rigs and support equipment
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
