Tax Senior Associate
Krutilla & Associates is a fast‑growing CPA firm based in Walnut Creek that specializes in tax and consulting services for large and mid‑sized clients, including real estate opportunity funds, real estate investment trusts, homebuilders, technology companies, professional service firms, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
As a Tax Senior Associate, you will work as part of a team to complete tax returns and advise clients on tax planning opportunities. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with clients to provide planning ideas and acquire documents necessary for tax return preparation.
We are seeking qualified candidates to prepare tax returns on a seasonal‑, full‑time, or part‑time basis.
Responsibilities- Preparation and/or review of Individual and/or Trust tax returns
- Accounting calculations required to prepare tax returns and quarterly estimates
- Perform online tax research
- Build general technical and tax planning skills
- Minimum GPA: 3.2
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
- General knowledge of accounting principles
- CPA/EA or working toward completion of CPA/EA exam preferred
