Position InformationMinimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Three to five years advanced office experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines..
- Demonstrated MS Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, punctuation.
- Ability to compose correspondence.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to track deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and work well with senior management on highly confidential matters.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public, students, faculty and staff.
- Proficiency in Google docs and budget experience.
Unless otherwise required by an applicable collective bargaining agreement, all minimum, additional and desired qualifications are preferred, but qualifications, degrees, and/or experience deemed comparable and/or equivalent by Oakland University in its sole and exclusive discretion may be considered.
Position PurposeServe as the primary point of contact for the Office of Community Engagement as well as supporting front desk receptionist responsibilities for the Office of the President. Perform a variety of general office procedures requiring independent judgement and planning while working independently managing multiple projects. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Community Engagement Officer including project coordination, budget management, calendar management and information gathering.
