PMO Operations Analyst / Program Operations Analyst

- Onsite: Tuesday–Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Remote: Monday & Friday
Local candidates only. This role requires onsite presence in Oakland.
- Type: Contract

12 months (with strong potential for extension) - Pay Rate: $83/hour (W2)

Our client, a leader in the Utilities industry, is seeking a PMO Operations Analyst to support a large-scale, enterprise-level transformation program. This role will partner closely with PMO leadership to provide visibility into program execution, resource management, financial tracking, contracts, and dependencies
.

- Support weekly and monthly program status meetings.
- Prepare and maintain execution metrics, dashboards, and reports.
- Provide accurate visibility into overall program health
, including schedule, cost, and resources.
- Support resource management
, including onboarding and offboarding activities. - Coordinate access, tools, laptops, and system permissions.
- Ensure accuracy of start/end dates, billability, and forecasting data.
- Assist with administration of Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, and invoicing
. - Review and validate contract language (no rate or term negotiation).
- Partner with procurement and external vendors to ensure timely processing.
- Identify and help manage dependencies across multiple projects and work streams.
- Proactively flag potential conflicts and coordinate with SMEs to resolve issues.
- Support alignment of timelines across initiatives.
- Develop and update executive-level presentations and materials.
- Support and facilitate large meetings, town halls, and leadership sessions.
- Communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Provide ongoing support to PMO leadership as program priorities evolve.
- Assist with process improvements, new metrics, and reporting needs.
- 7–10+ years of experience in PMO, Program Operations, or IT Program Support roles.
- Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise programs
. - Experience using Jira or similar project tracking tools.
- Exposure to contract and procurement support processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in Utilities
, Energy, Oil & Gas, or other asset-intensive industries. - Exposure to ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday, People Soft, etc.).
- Experience with tools such as Power
BI, MS Project, Share Point . - Experience working with multiple vendors or consulting partners.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable with changing priorities.
- Confident communicating with large audiences and senior leadership.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.
- Able to connect details across complex, cross-functional environments.
