The Business Consulting Services team delivers innovative business solutions and technology capabilities to national health plan operations across all KP markets. We partner with operational stakeholders and IT partners to drive transformative change, foster innovation, and enhance the KP customer, member, and patient experience.
The Consultant IV will be responsible for business requirements, business process definition (process maps), solution design analysis, and operational workflow walkthroughs. The Consultant IV will work within an interdisciplinary team comprised of roles from multiple departments across Kaiser Permanente-s health plan operations, including project managers, testers, operational SMEs, IT solution design consultants, IT developers, learning & delivery consultants, and external vendors, to implement new business technologies and operational workflows.
The Consultant IV will work on large/complex implementation programs that require ability to quickly learn software application fundamentals for enterprise technology (either homegrown or vendor-based), utilizing SAFe Agile product implementation and product management methodology best practices.
Job Summary:
Serves as a consultant to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse stakeholders to drive the implementation of successful business initiatives and projects. Provides insight and supports the development and implementation of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. Contributes to business strategy and supports organizational alignment and prioritization of business initiatives. Manages complex projects or project components, participates in and may lead change management activities, and performs data analyses in support of business initiatives.
Supports vendor management as required. Monitors compliance of work activities by ensuring business plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
