As the Program Specialist for the Tot Lot
, you lead care and activities for campers ages 2‑5 in a safe, playful, and structured setting
. You handle Tot Lot programming,
parent communication
, and inventory - and support the full program when Tot Lot isn’t running. This job helps younger kids enjoy camp while parents and older campers take part in other activities.
You will spend your summer playing games, leading crafts and story‑time, helping parents drop off and pick up their children, and managing toys and supplies.

Program Specialist - Tot Lot - 2026 Job Description
Plan and lead safe, age‑appropriate games and activities for kids ages 2‑5.
Greet children and parents,
manage check‑in & pick‑up
, and track attendance.Clean, sanitize, and organize Tot Lot space, toys, and supplies; track inventory.
Communicate with parents about allergies, behavior or camper needs, and give updates as needed.
Lead snack time
, restocking supplies, and coordinating with the kitchen for snacks.Support broader camp programming - help other staff, join events, and jump in where needed.
Your work helps our youngest campers have a safe, fun, and welcoming start to their camp day - and makes camp easier for their families.
Who We Are Looking For18 or older.
At least 2 years experience working with children ages 2‑5 (childcare, preschool, etc.).
Patient, warm, and good with young kids
.Good communication and organization skills.
Comfortable cleaning, lifting up to 50 lbs, and being active throughout the day.
