Import Customer Service Agent reporting to our Oakland Office

Job Description- Customer service in our import department
- Responsible for import customer service, import consolidations, customer rate quotations, traffic, bookings, tracking and tracing, communications with overseas agents
- Knowledge of U.S. customs and import procedures, familiarity with oversize and project freight, ocean freight, airfreight, domestic transportation
- Requires experience with a customs broker, freight forwarder, NVOCC or Steamship line
- Second language especially Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus
- Will consider applicants who could work in our Torrance office or in our Shenandoah Tx office but Oakland highly preferred
Well established NVOCC with offices throughout the USA and agents throughout the world. Primarily focused on ocean freight full container shipments and a market leader in the European and African trades.
