Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Conduct patient histories and physical examinations.

- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program.
- Active and unencumbered PA license in California .
- National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- While requirements may vary, most locum PA positions prefer candidates with at least one year of clinical experience in their area of specialty.
- Locum tenens PA positions are temporary assignments, often lasting weeks or months, to address staffing shortages in hospitals, surgical centers or other healthcare facilities.
