Adult Cardiac Surgeon

The Montefiore Einstein Department of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified cardiac surgeon to join our full-time faculty at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate with experience. We are particularly interested in applicants who are 1 to 5 years out of training and eager to build a strong clinical foundation.

This faculty position is integral to the continued growth of our high-performing, qua ternary-level cardiac surgery program. The successful candidate will contribute to excellence in the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery including multiarterial revascularization, valvular and complex aortic surgery, as well as institution of short-term mechanical support with ECMO and Impella 5.5 technologies. The ideal candidate will embody teamwork, empathy, and strong communication skills and thrive in a collaborative environment with several disciplines.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, opportunities exist for participation in clinical research, outreach activities, quality improvement initiatives, and program development.
