We are hiring at any location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. based office, but we intend to recruit the "best" candidates worldwide. As a Senior Structural Engineer on our Advanced Manufacturing team, you will work on a variety of projects related to data centers, including new builds, retrofits, colocations, and more.

You’ll be a key asset, collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and designers on projects of various sizes. You’ll coordinate designs with other Jacobs offices, both domestic and international, and liaise with internal professionals and design departments for project delivery.

Other key contributions include:

• Performing a variety of analysis.
• Creating computer models for structures.
• Conducting calculations for member designs and foundations, material take‑offs for estimating, and preparation of miscellaneous calculations.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8 or more years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with the ability to become registered in additional states.
• Knowledge of CAD software, such as Auto Cad, Revit, Micro Station, and S3D.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA or STAAD.
• Knowledge and application of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13, and other industry‑relevant design codes and standards.
• Knowledge and application of building codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite software including MS Teams for remote coordination.
• Ability for travel to various client sites (approximately 10% to 20% travel).

• Master of Science in Engineering.
• Experience with industrial metals projects, including casting and rolling operations or similar heavy industrial projects.
• Ability to lead teams to deliver commitments on schedule and on budget while meeting quality and client expectations.
