We are actively looking for a Marine Structures Project Manager to join our Abu Dhabi office. As part of the Marine Structures Group, the Marine Structures Project Manager will manage all phases of design and construction support for complex marine projects, including ports, terminals, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, and coastal protection systems.

This is a client-facing role with support responsibility for business development and regional growth.

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams for marine infrastructure projects from concept through detailed design and construction support
  • Coordinate structural design with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets
  • Prepare and review contract documents, including drawings, technical specifications, and design reports
  • Conduct constructability reviews and risk assessments for contractor-side delivery
  • Serve as primary client interface; attend meetings and site visits across the region
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
  • Support business development, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives in the Middle East

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;
    Master’s degree preferred
  • 15 years of experience in marine infrastructure projects, with strong background in contractor-side design or design for contractor execution
  • Chartered Engineer status (ICE or equivalent) highly desirable
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale marine projects in the Middle East
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP
    2000) and familiarity with FIDIC contracts
  • Willingness to travel regionally as required
  • Experience with ports, terminals, and coastal structures
  • Familiarity with regional codes and standards
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
Working conditions

Majority of work is office based. Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
