Intern Engineering Designer, Roads & Highways

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Become familiar with engineering plans and details
• Perform quantity take-offs
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling
• Assist with computer modeling
• Assist with producing progress reports
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff
• Assist in producing engineering drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under senior engineer supervision
• Apply appropriate engineering codes and standards
• Attend site visits or inspections

The company is looking for:

• Current 3rd-year undergraduate student in an accredited Civil Engineering program
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and engineering software
• Preferred proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Micro Station
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Strong commitment to integrity and ethical behavior

• Hourly pay range of $24-27, reflecting skills and experience
