Responsibilities
  • As a Tax Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of complex tax compliance and planning engagements. You’ll manage tax staff, coordinate workflows, and collaborate directly with partners to provide strategic guidance. We’ll count on you to review complex returns and ensure accuracy, compliance, and insight in every client interaction.
  • Review and assist with federal and multi-state returns (Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1040, 1041, 706, 709)
  • Oversee engagement compliance, workflow, and deadlines
  • Provide proactive planning and strategic tax guidance
  • Identify and mitigate risks; manage IRS and state audits
  • Maintain consistent, thoughtful client communication
  • Manage realization and billing in coordination with partners
  • Uphold firm quality standards and technical review procedures
  • Contribute to growth through relationship development and innovation
Your Experience & Expertise
  • 8+ years of public accounting tax experience with CPA or EA
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships and engagement teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and tax software (CCHAxcess, Engagement, or similar)
