Candide Group is an impact investment firm founded in 2013 that leverages capital to support the transition away from an extractive global economy toward one rooted in social justice and sustainability. The firm works with families, foundations, and other institutional clients who seek to align their capital with values-driven investing, managing 100% impact portfolios that encompass direct deals, venture and private equity funds, innovative financial structures, cash, public equities, debt funds, real assets, and additional investment vehicles.
Since its inception, Candide Group has directed over $299 million into more than 170 private companies and funds, demonstrating a strong commitment to equity and inclusion both internally and within the organizations it supports. The firm maintains a US emphasis while operating across multiple sectors and geographies. According to its latest impact report, 98% of the companies and funds in which Candide facilitates investments have BIPOC, women, and gender-expansive people represented in leadership positions.
The firm operates through four thematic impact verticals:
Home and Place, Employee Ownership, Climate Justice, and Inclusive Entrepreneurship. Candide Group employs intersectional lenses across these verticals to support individuals and communities historically harmed by extractive finance. The organization recognizes that achieving its vision requires pursuing multiple strategies, ranging from transformative investing and active advocacy to campaign participation and public engagement. The firm is committed to deepening relationships with families, foundations, and institutions seeking to direct capital toward justice and equity outcomes.
