Code Enforcement Officer

The future is now, Willdan is "Envisioning the Future" of building and safety through our work with cities, buildings, and transportation. Public Agency Resources (PARS), a subsidiary of Willdan Group Inc., is seeking a part‑time Code Enforcement Officer in the Alameda County, CA area.

• Patrol assigned areas with the team and monitor vendor activity for compliance with city/county codes.
• Educate vendors on permit requirements and applicable regulations.
• Issue warnings, notices of violation, and citations as appropriate.
• Respond to community complaints regarding vendor activity in a professional manner.
• Document inspections and enforcement actions, including reports and photos.
• Collaborate with teammates, local law enforcement, health departments, and city officials as needed.

• Background in law enforcement, corrections, code enforcement, or security preferred.
• Certified Code Enforcement Officer, current or prior law enforcement, or PC 832 certification.
• Strong communication skills (oral & written).
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
