Position: Administrative Analyst I

The Park District is currently recruiting for an Administrative Analyst I. This on-site position will be headquartered at 2950 Peralta Oaks Court in Oakland, CA.

There are currently two vacancies for this position. The hiring pools established from this recruitment will be used to fill the current vacancies and any additional vacancies that may occur during the one-year life of the hiring pools.

Recruitment Timeline
  • Minimum Qualifications and Supplemental Question Screening:
    Mid to Late January
  • Written Examination:
    Best qualified candidates will be invited to take a remote, written examination. The exam will be sent to candidates the week of January 26th. Results from the written exam will be sent the week of February 9th.
  • Onsite Oral Panel Interviews:
    Week of February 23 (most likely February 25 or 26)
  • Selection Interviews:
    Early to Mid-March

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Under general supervision, carries out a variety of technical, analytical, and administrative tasks in support of the division’s goals and objectives.

IDEAL CANDIDATE IS

  • Data-driven and eager to analyze administrative problems, processes, and procedures to improve customer service and increase efficiency.
  • Experienced with public sector contracts and procurement.
  • Skilled at implementing complex rules in a streamlined and efficient manner.
  • Knowledgeable of budget monitoring, tracking, and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • On assigned projects, plans and conducts technical administrative studies and analyses, including identification of administrative problems, determination of study approach and techniques.
  • Gathers, evaluates and tabulates study data.
  • Formulates recommendations and prepares reports on the basis of evaluated data and information.
