The BCBA position will be held by an individual who has the training, education, and/or experience necessary to serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional. This role provides clinical supervision and oversight of programs implemented by the Supervisor/BCaBA and Behavior Interventionists. The BCBA will administer behavioral health treatment, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other delays.
EssentialJob Functions
- Design, develop, and implement a wide range of ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to tailor ABA programs to each client’s specific needs.
- Deliver individual and group learning experiences to assist clients in achieving treatment goals.
- Meet with, train, and supervise mid‑level supervisors/BCaBA and direct care staff (Behavior Interventionists) to guide and review progress and consult on implementation.
- Conduct assessments, write treatment goals, analyze data, and write progress reports under Clinical Director supervision.
- Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments using standardized tools (VB‑MAPP, ABBLS‑R, Vineland‑III, etc.) under Clinical Director direction.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of behavioral plans for children.
- Assist in developing adaptive skills for individuals in school, home, and community settings.
- Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to families and/or schools.
- Supervise ABA programs to teach skills related to daily routines, coping, play, social interactions, functional communication, and safety awareness.
- Empower parents, caregivers, and support staff to influence clients within natural routines for independence.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff.
- Define target behaviors and write treatment goals, coordinating evidence‑based programs and reinforcement strategies.
- Model and train staff on implementing intervention strategies.
- Maintain ABA session schedules for staff and clients, managing planned and unplanned adjustments.
- Conduct weekly family/caregiver meetings via clinic or telehealth to review progress and consult on implementation.
- Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule, including afternoons and evenings.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Valid California Driver’s license (if working in‑person/hybrid).
- Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
- BCBA Certification.
- Competitive Salary: $75,000 - $95,000/year, including base salary, sign‑on bonus, and monthly bonuses for meeting and exceeding billable hours.
