HELP WANTED: DIRECT CARE STAFF – ADULT DAY PROGRAM Are you compassionate, dependable, and looking for a rewarding career helping others? Our Adult Day Program seeks full-time Direct Care Staff Members to support adults with developmental and physical disabilities in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.

Position: Direct Care Staff

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Starting Wage: $21/hour

Location: Henry & Henry Adult Day Program | 2614 Seminary Avenue Oakland, CA 94605

• Provide direct support with personal care, including diaper changing, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
• Facilitate participation in recreational, social, and educational activities.
• Promote independence and support individualized goals.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful program environment.
• Document daily care and observations per program guidelines.
• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance required.
• Ability to lift and assist participants with mobility and transfers.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus (training provided).
• Reliable, patient, and committed to high-quality care.
• Must pass a Livescan background check and meet state requirements.
