Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position in California requiring an active CA RN license and recent ICU experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting,

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week,

• Uses Epic EMR system; experience preferred,

• Patient population includes critical care cases; dialysis and SLED experience are beneficial,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration,

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program,

• At least one year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time ICU experience,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• NIH Stroke Scale certificate preferred,

• CCRN certification preferred,

• Two years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred,

• Dialysis or SLED experience preferred,

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred,

• Must provide last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration,

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a team-based environment,

• Scrub color or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start,

• Compliance with all testing and vaccination requirements is necessary,

• Assignment cannot exceed two years at the facility without a 90-day break in service,

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,
