The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.

Minimum Requirements:

• A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
• One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Ultrasound Tech – General Radiology / Cardiology

Location: Oakland, CA
Start Date: January 26, 2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 5x8s | 08:00–17:00

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a high-performing hospital team in Oakland, CA . This role covers General Radiology and Cardiology , with a strong emphasis on Vascular Ultrasound . OB scanning is light at this site, with more OB coverage handled at the Summit campus.

Travel Pay Package

?? Travel Weekly Pay: $2,939

• $1,280 taxable income
• $1,659 stipends

Requirements Certifications (Required)

• BLS (AHA)
• ARDMS – AB
• ARDMS – RVT

Experience (Required)

• 1+ year full-time hospital Ultrasound Tech experience
• EPIC charting experience

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Weekends as needed

Department Details

• General & Vascular Ultrasound
• Heavy Vascular workload
• Light OB at this site (majority OB performed at Summit)
