Performance Test Architect

Base Pay Range

• Load Runner and Neo Load scripting and execution proficiency.
• Experience with JMeter, Neoload, and load testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with APM tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, App Dynamics, or similar.
• Solid understanding of networking, databases, and application performance metrics.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash) and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests into automated workflows.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

• Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Develop, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using Load Runner and Neo Load; familiar with Web HTTP/HTML, JMS, SAP, Citrix protocols.
• Define performance benchmarks, KPIs, and SLAs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead performance testing efforts including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior performance engineers.
• Create detailed performance test plans, test cases, and documentation.
• Monitor application performance in production and recommend tuning opportunities.
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks across application layers (UI, API, database, infrastructure).
• Recommend and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with development, Dev Ops, and QA teams to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and select appropriate performance testing tools and frameworks.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers on performance testing best practices.
• Create detailed documentation and reports for technical and non‑technical audiences.
