Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the functional SME for SAP MM and inventory processes supporting substation operations, including materials, receiving, stocking, reservations, issues/returns, cycle counts, replenishment, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support work management workflows tied to material consumption and job execution (work orders, notifications, planning, kitting/staging, crews, and scheduling dependencies).
  • Lead cross‑functional requirements gathering with operations, warehouse/storeroom teams, planners, schedulers, and IT through workshops, process mapping, and future‑state design.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data definitions, and test scenarios.
  • Configure and implement SAP enhancements, coordinating with technical teams on integrations, reporting, and system improvements.
  • Define data pipelines and reporting requirements using Snowflake (or similar platforms) to enable inventory visibility, demand planning, and operational analytics.
  • Support testing, cutover readiness, and hypercare; develop SOPs, runbooks, and end‑user documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong hands‑on experience with SAP Materials Management (MM), preferably in a utility or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience with work management and material integration into field execution (planning, staging/kitting, consumption posting, and returns).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional workshops and drive alignment across Business and IT stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering solutions end‑to‑end (requirements → design → configuration/build → testing → deployment).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and related work management modules and integrations.
  • Experience designing analytics and data products using Snowflake, including dashboards, KPIs, demand signals, and exception reporting.
  • Familiarity with utility substation operations, including maintenance programs, outage planning, and field execution realities.
