Litigation & Practice Support Specialist‑Hybrid
Join Fennemore as a full‑time Litigation & Practice Support Specialist in our Oakland office. This hybrid role requires being in‑office at least two days per week and supporting litigation attorneys and the Practice Support team through technology, eDiscovery, and trial preparation.
Base Pay Range$/yr – $/yr
What You'll Do- Collect, organize, and maintain documents and physical evidence, preserving chain of custody.
- Support filings and trial preparations in coordination with paralegals and attorneys.
- Assist in developing case timelines, chronologies, and witness materials.
- Summarize legal documents to support case preparation.
- Provide trial and deposition support, including audiovisual logistics and presentation preparation.
- Manage multiple eDiscovery projects using Relativity and Everlaw, coordinating in‑house and vendor partners.
- Use tools such as TAR, ECA, analytics, and search filters to streamline document review.
- Oversee document production, prepare privilege logs, and manage large document repositories.
- Serve the primary point of contact for local office litigation support needs.
- Partner closely with attorneys, Practice Support, and vendor teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with paralegals to delegate and coordinate routine tasks, strengthening team capacity.
- Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and providing training on litigation support tools.
- Contribute to firm and department projects as opportunities arise.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent technical training/hand‑on litigation support experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in litigation support, trial technology, or eDiscovery.
- Proficient in Relativity (3‑5 years preferred) and familiar with Everlaw or other eDiscovery tools.
- Significant experience with state and federal court procedures and managing strict deadlines.
- Comfortable tracking billable time, communicating clearly, and managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible and willing to travel occasionally for depositions or trials; some overtime may be required.
